Happy Skin Formulator. Veteran. Educator. Recovering product junkie.
I didn't set out to start a skincare brand. I set out to stop itching, hurting — and honestly, to stop wasting money on products that promised everything and delivered nothing but irritation.
So I did what any determined woman does: I used my 30 years experience in hair care, grit and motivation from the Navy, and got into the lab and figured it out myself.
The Goat Milk Moment
Goat milk wasn't as trendy when I fell in love with it. It was just working — calming irritation, restoring my soft skin, and making my skin feel like...well, skin again. Rich in vitamins, naturally gentle, and deeply nourishing, it became the heart of everything I formulate.
Today, every Zhi product is crafted with that same intention: gentle enough for your most sensitive days, luxurious enough for your best ones.

Zhi Bath and Body is veteran-owned, women-owned, minority-owned and proudly made in the USA right here in Charlotte, NC. We're not a big corporate brand — we're a small family-run brand with a big mission: to make premium, natural skincare accessible to people with dry, sensitive, eczema-prone, or reactive skin who've been false promises in pretty packaging by the mainstream.

More Than Skincare
We LOVE showing up for our community — from wellness brunches and pop-up markets to veteran coat drives and retreats. Our limited edition Rich Ground Collection honors Black History Month and the ancestral skincare wisdom that has always known what skin needs. Our collaboration with What'cha Drink'n & More honors the spirit of whole self wellness with a line of Drink-Inspired Wellness Candles to encourage people to take time and just "be".
We also partner with hotels, spas, and corporations through our private label and corporate gifting programs — because great skin shouldn't be a luxury reserved for one.
