 Original Carol's Daughter Soaks I was recently on a webinar that centered around being who you want to be. The theme? "I AM..." Right from the start, I was intrigued. A very good friend of mine....a true sister....and I have been speaking on the same two words. Our mission is to encourage folks to be who you are, where you are and be proud of that. But going back to the webinar, my eyes were opened to how important "I AM" is. For me, my friend, family, my kiddos, and my inner circle. More importantly, sharing and encouraging others to grasp "I AM..." is critical. Step One -- BREATHEIf you're blessed to wake up and breathe, you're already one up. It wasn't your time to quit because you're still alive. Breathe easy, friend, first hurdle done. Step Two -- SMILEIt's tough at times I know....really tough. Think on step one, good reason to smile. Think on a time you made someone's day and their joy was infectious; good reason to smile. Got a dream? Really good reason to smile! So go ahead! I dare you!! Step Three -- PERSEVEREI've learned over the last few weeks that breathing and smiling makes me feel better, even if only a little. The more I breathe and smile the less I worry. The less I worry, the more I come out of darkness and begin to shine. The more I shine the more I imagine. My imagination takes off....it has taken off. It's taking time but the more I'm strategic about breathing and smiling, the more it becomes worth it to persevere. The Purpose In All This?The image above was my latest confirmation of what can happen when you breathe, smile, & persevere. Anyone that knows the brand knows it no longer looks this way--it's gotten bigger and better in many, many ways. I've got dreams of changing the world. I dream of helping folks that can't help themselves or just need someone to care. I've started dreaming big, but I've got to have the right spirit....or at least I think I do. :) Therefore... I AM BREATHING... I AM SMILING... I AM PERSEVERING... YOUR TURN!!!
