How cool is this -- clarifying rinse! Vinegar has been long known as a home remedy for all kinds of things. Today I have your the recipe for making your own clarifying hair rinse to free your beautiful locks from any and all gunk and build-up that may be keeping your moisturizers from penetrating and offering the best benefit. And as a former hair stylist, I know first-hand how annoying build-up on the hair can be. I typically use a clarifying rinse or shampoo every two weeks. The hair tends to get overly dry when you clarify too often. Just be absolutely certain you follow your rinse or shampoo with a moisturizer to replenish all that the rinse has stripped away. You'll feel like you've got a new head of hair! Let's get to it!!
Directions...1. Add oil to the vinegar. This creates your Oil/Vinegar mix. 2. Dilute your Oil/Vinegar mix. Add 2 tablespoons of the Oil/Vinegar to 2 cups of water. 2. Shampoo as usual. 3. Pour rinse on hair, saturating it. Use less for short hair, more for long hair. 4. Rinse out with water. 5. Condition as usual. Again, clarifying the hair is a wonderful way of stripping any residue or product build-up from your hair and scalp. It is not recommended that you rinse more than twice a week as your hair may become very dry. If the hair becomes dry still, rinse less often. If you have more build-up shampoo with a non-moisturizing shampoo, then use clarifying rinse. Enjoy your naturally clean tresses!!!
