The handmade holiday guide is finally here and ready to be perused by any one who loves anything indie. Personally, I LOVE it when I can sit for even just a few minutes to look at a great magazine. You get such inspiration from the decor and various images. But THIS! This is fun to look at AND fun to read! I've gained a ton of insight from other independent business owners that have something to share with the rest of us.
The colors in the publication alone scream HOLIDAY SHOPPING!!!! LET'S GOOOO! It's got over 30 businesses that make handmade goods that you'll enjoy year-round. I've found a couple myself I'm going to buy from this year already! Will keep you posted on the good stuff that I recieve....too excited about that!
Just an quick peek of what you're getting yourself into as you get engulfed in hours and hours of good reading! A Handmade Handbook on page 6 to 7 -- a list of questions to ask and things to know about buying handmade goods. A Soapmaker's Journey on page 13 -- GREAT piece! Even a listing, by State, of where to buy handmade products locally on page 31! How cool is that?! Yea, yea, yea, only three....you gotta see the rest for yourself. Another cool thing about the guide this year is that Zhi featured on page 18! Yippeee! It is just so wonderful to be a part of a publication that is produced by such an awesome team! I've learned so much from Donna Maria's Indie Business Blog. SO! As said on the Indie Business Blog, you're invited "to grab a cup of your favorite tea, sit back and relax. Enjoy the articles authored by IBN members, and as you do, note how easy it is to click through to a website and complete your purchase quickly, easily, and securely. You can also easily see how to follow our members on Twitter, FaceBook, Pinterest and more!" ALL VERY TRUE STATEMENTS! Oh and FYI! Any purchases we receive as a result of the ad we have in the Handmade Guide will get.. .....FREE Shipping!!! (Use the code "handmadeholiday" during checkout) TIL NEXT TIME....
