Thank you for stopping by and visiting with us.  We sincerely appreciate any visitor that comes in, even if to only say hello.

My name is Kimberly and I am the owner of Zhi.  I'd like to take this time to sit and tell you a little bit about myself and the company.  You know, things like: how we got started, how long we've been in business, what we look forward to for the future...all that good stuff that you generally want to know about a company you've never heard of.

With that, I'll get started...

Well, in a nutshell, Zhi is the product of my determination to not let Psoriasis stop me from enjoying all the wonderfully fragrant bath products out on the market today.  I've been combatting Hand & Foot Psoriasis for about the last 8 years.  I was disgusted with the fact that I love fragrance....I love to try new soaks and lotions and perfumes.  Once my hands got to the point where they could not take my profession or my desire to pamper my skin, I decided that if I could not find a line of affordable products to suit my--by then--VERY sensitive skin, I would make my own.  And so it began...in the kitchen of my home in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Zhi has been official for the last 4 years now and believe me, it has been wonderful; tough at times, but well worth the experience.  To look back and see where it has come from...had it not been for the faithful patrons that visit with us regularly, there would be no Zhi.

Speaking of the name Zhi (pronounced Chee), I wanted a name that would reflect who I am and what the company represents.  I am a firm believer in being "green".  We have been provided with everything that we need to survive in this world without having to rely solely on things man-made to live.  But back to the name, Zhi means alot to me personally and is a reflection of what the company represents.  Although, I've heard several different translations...I rely most on the Chinese meaning for a baby's name...WISDOM, HEALING. 

I pray daily to have the wisdom and know-how to prepare each and every product to the best of my ability and as naturally as I can get.  Through this wisdom, the products I prepare will have the healing qualities that I desire for each individual that uses them.  Whether a single mother needs healing for her mind after a long day at work and with the kids...she can bathe and relax mentally in one of our handmixed soaksinto a state that helps her feel refreshed and ready to make it through another day.  Or if its that man's man that stands day in and day out at work and just needs rest for his tired feet...he gets comfort in knowing that he can soak his tired,stressed feet in warm bath or foot soak.

I absolutely love what I do!  Making our customers happy means the world to me.  I will strive continuously to make products that are good for the body--as sensitive as it may be--and the mind.  I look forward to building a wonderful relationship with you!
